Dr. Jeff R. Chalkley is a native Houstonian and graduate of Westbury High School. He earned his B.S. and D.V.M from Texas A&M University. Dr. Chalkley spent a year at Kansas State University doing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery before joining our staff in July 2005.
He is currently the Harris County Representative on the Board of Directors for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, a Past President of the Board of Directors for Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, Chair of the Companion Animal Committee for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Chalkley was also the recipient of the 2009 TVMA Recent Graduate Practitioner of the Year Award.
