Dr. Wright grew up in Castroville, TX. He graduated from Tarleton and went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2006. After graduation, he joined a mixed animal practice in Muleshoe, TX. He joined Belton Veterinary Clinic in 2008 and became an owner in 2012.
Dr. Wright has an interest in food animal surgery and medicine, especially working with youth livestock.
