Amanda Sharp Updated:06/2024

Amanda Sharp, DVM, graduated from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2012. She attended A&M in College Station for undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences and was accepted into vet school as a junior. Needless to say, she is a very proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie! While in vet school, Dr. Sharp developed a traveling internship to further her professional mixed animal experiences. She set out to further her education after graduation on the Navajo reservation (Arizona/New Mexico), where she performed mixed animal mission work, in Colorado and Wyoming, working with an ambulatory livestock company, in Oklahoma, working with cattle at sale barns and in privately-owned settings, and in Virginia, at a distinguished Equine clinic. She worked as a mixed animal practitioner for a short time in East Texas, but quickly learned her passion is in serving companion animals.
