Dr. Amy Ballard Hughes was born in Paris, attended undergraduate school at Paris Junior College and Texas A&M University, and graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She returned to her hometown and this practice where she worked as a teenager. She is a Past President of the Northeast Texas Vet Medical Association. She has served on several boards including the Leadership Lamar County board.
