Dr. Cruce was born and raised in the Fort Worth area and graduated from Fort Worth Christian High School. He started working at the Animal Hospital of Denison in 1990 while he was in college. He received his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University in 1991 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1996 from Texas A&M. He then came back to the Animal Hospital of Denison as a full-time veterinarian. Dr. Cruce purchased the hospital several years ago and is now the third owner since 1941.
