Dr. Bowling grew up in Gallup, New Mexico. She completed her undergraduate pre-veterinary studies at New Mexico State University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2003.
Following her graduation, she practiced at Katy Equine Clinic in Katy, Texas, followed by Highland Lakes Veterinary Clinic in Marble Falls. In 2007, she moved back to New Mexico and practiced at Jornada Veterinary Clinic in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
