Mixed Animal Lakeway Veterinary Clinic was established February of 1982 by Dr. Gerald Boyd. In 2013, Dr. Holly Kana joined the team, eventually taking over in 2019. Community involvement is an imperative component to our core values. Dr. Kana and the staff of Lakeway Veterinary Clinic are active in the community, supporting programs such as National Night Out, Trunk or Treat, as well as organizations such as Edna Education Foundation, numerous church and civic groups, and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. The Jackson County Youth Fair holds a special place in the hearts of the Lakeway staff. We are proud to support the local 4H and FFA chapters along with all the kids that work so hard for the JCYF.
Dr. Holly Kana is an El Campo High School graduate that attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the practice 2013. She, along with her husband Dustin and their two children happily transplanted to Edna. They enjoy all things outdoors.
