Dr. Bowen graduated from Texas A & M University in 1987, and joined our team in 1995. Dr. Bowen works at both our locations and is our primary surgeon.Janet and her husband live in Brenham and have two grown children. Together they raise, train, and show cutting horses. Dr. Bowen also operates athriving horse breeding, embryo transfer, and foal out service. In addition to her horses Dr. Bowen has several canine companions, including along haired dachshund, a blue merle border collie, and a string of other rescued mutts. Dr. Bowen's approach to veterinary medicine is straight forward and concise. She is an important part of our team, and Grand Park Animal Clinic is lucky to have her!
