Dr. Kyler Gilbreath grew up in Andrews, Texas. His experience riding and time spent with local veterinarians helped him choose to pursue a career in equine medicine. Kyler attended Texas A&M University where he received three degrees including his DVM in May of 2021. During this time, he also attended horseshoeing school and worked as a farrier's apprentice.
After graduating from vet school, Kyler accepted a position with Peak Performance Equine Hospital in Granbury, Texas. During this time, he gained experience in all aspects of equine medicine. His specific interests include lameness and podiatry. He is currently working towards his certification through the American Farriers Association (AFA).
