Dr. Rhonda Phillips (Black) better known as “Dr. Rhonda” graduated from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She is the most senior veterinarian on staff and the founder of Country Friends Veterinary Clinic, established in 1996. Dr. Rhonda now practices part-time at Country Friends Veterinary Clinic performing surgery which is her passion. Her other passions include volunteering with Patriot Paws Service Dogs (12 yrs), Royse City Animal Shelter (25 yrs), Royse City Paws (5 yrs), and Collin College’s Veterinary Technology Program (6 yrs). She serves on multiple community and professional boards and is involved with other church and community outreach programs. Her mission and motto in her professional career have been to “Care for people through the care of their pets” as well as to “Think of and treat other’s pets as she would her own”.
