Being raised on a horse farm in Central Florida with parents in the medical field, I was a bit predestined to become a veterinarian. 4-H and Pony Club helped mold me into the dog and horse lover that I am today, with a love for animal athletes as well as an ultimate respect for our loved ones as they age. I was lucky enough to have my agility dogs for 15 and 16 years, and still have my now 28 year old show pony. A born and raised Gator, I finished a double major in 2006 then my veterinary degree at the University of Florida in 2011. Out of veterinary school, I joined a 75 percent equine, 25 percent small animal practice.
