Dr. Michalk is originally from San Marcos, Texas, and she attended Texas Tech University to earn her undergraduate degree before gaining early acceptance to Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating as a licensed veterinarian, Dr. Michalk returned home to San Marcos and began working at the very same veterinary clinic that took care of her own family pets while she was growing up.
