Steve Nelle has worked with private landowners in Texas since 1976 providing various types of land, water and wildlife conservation assistance. From 1976 until 2011 he worked for the Soil Conservation Service and NRCS in South Texas, West Texas and Central Texas.  After retirement in 2011 he continues to provide private consultation services primarily in Central, West and South Texas, but occasionally in other regions.  His educational background is B.S. in Range and Wildlife Management at Texas Tech which was renowned at that time for providing the richest and most well rounded rangeland / wildlife habitat education possible.  Nelle now works with small, medium and large ranches who desire to better understand and manage their land and to become responsible land stewards. Nelle has had the privilege of working with and leaning from some of the very best land and wildlife managers in Texas and this experience helps him provide high quality assistance to others.
