Texas A&M AgriLife Water Education Network Updated:02/2019

Water demand in Texas is projected to increase by 22 percent between 2010 and 2060. As a result, protecting water resources and utilizing water-conservation practices will be essential to sustain the state’s water supply-and-demand balance. The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service delivers a wide range of resources and programs focusing on water conservation, water management and water quality.  With its statewide network of professional educators, trained volunteers, research partners and community collaborators, AgriLife Extension is ready and able to impact issues that affect the well-being and prosperity of Texas Residents. This agency works closely with Texas A&M AgriLife Research on applied studies and demonstrations in water quality, conservation and use.
