Texas Water Conservation Association Updated:03/2021

TWCA membership encompasses the full spectrum of water use or interests: groundwater users, irrigators, municipalities, river authorities, navigation and flood control districts, industrial users, drainage districts, utility districts, and general/environmental interests. Each of these categories is represented on the TWCA Board of Directors.

TWCA serves as a leader and advocate for water users:

  • Acting in an advisory capacity to encourage and inform Congress, the  this link takes you off of the TWCA site Texas Legislature , and governmental agencies at all levels charged with responsibility for water resources;
  • Stimulating public awareness of water issues and activities at the state and national levels;
  • Providing unique opportunities for professional growth and recognition in the field of water resources;

Offering affordable insurance coverage for members through the TWCA Risk Management Fund and the TWCA Employee Benefits Trust.

TWCA is affiliated with the National Water Resources Association. This affiliation enables TWCA to keep abreast of activities on the federal level pertaining to water resources and to secure prompt consideration of Texas water projects requiring federal assistance or participation.
