Dr. Martin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. After graduating from Veterinary School in 2012 Dr. Martin served a 1-year internship at the Alvarado Veterinary Clinic in Alvarado, Texas where he trained in multiple species including cattle, equine, small ruminants, and small animals. Dr. Martin stayed on at the Alvarado Veterinary Clinic for 6 years before moving to the Weatherford area.
In 2018 Dr. Martin became a medical director for Grote Veterinary Clinic, where he worked until January 2020 when he decided to start up his own Veterinary business. Dr. Martin specializes in small animal medicine and surgery. He has a strong passion for the equine and the food animal industry. He has spent countless hours undergoing special training and continuing education in orthopedic surgery, advanced soft tissue surgery, and management of lameness conditions.
