Upper Trinity Conservation Trust Updated:05/2021

Upper Trinity Conservation Trust (UTCT) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit land trust and member of the Texas Land Trust Council.  UTCT was created in 2010 by Upper Trinity — the first land trust in Texas to be created by a water district with a primary focus on water quality protection. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the UTCT encourages conservation, stewardship and enjoyment of riparian lands along and near waterways.

Chartered for land conservancy, the UTCT receives and oversees conservation easements and other assets in the Lewisville Lake Watershed by working with individual landowners, communities and developers to preserve these special natural areas.
